If you want to see what others are talking about concerning the lack of illumination with a purple light I have two Nokya 9005 Artic Purple bulbs I will give you. They were so bad I took them out of my old Bonneville and put them on a shelf.
I travel early in the AM to work and the purple light did not do a thing for me. I felt it was a danger to drive with them installed.

And If you think you can see fine with a set of 6000K burners in, you should see how much you're missing by putting a set of 4100-4300K burners in.
Oh, and even +50 halogens appear more yellow than 4100K HID.
