Default Carpet Cleaning

Today I am going to shampoo my carpets in my car, I have the Hoover soap which ive used before, but I want to know what else i should use on them...any product i should buy?

those spray cans with the plastic brush attached to the top work pretty good. it got muddy doggy prints out of my gf'* car relatively easy. a shampooer should be plenty good though

caked on salt is the hardest thing to get off....

I use some "Goo-Gone" and a brush to get rid of it.

Don't pour it on the carpet..... use a towel and dab it.... lots of dabbing.... and then use a brush to get it off.

Salt is almost as hard as concrete when it cakes up and dries. I have had good luck soaking car mats in a laundry tub overnight to remove the salt. I will have to try "Goo-Gone for the carpet, thank you for the tip!

Ive used Dow spray and wash spot remover with a toothbrush on some of the spots on the carpet in my blazer. didnt work too bad, needed a little bit of patience if it was a worn in spot tho. then finished it with the carpet cleaner machine
