i cleaned mine to sparking new with a couple flushes of castrol superclean, a rag, and some BB'*... shake the hell out of it

I could have scrubbed for a long time and I may have gotten the washer bottle almost like new (that was the worst one). I could have then painted them with just clear paint. That would have been enough to keep them clean easily. They still would grab your attention since they are so bright. This was not only to keep them clean but to focus your attention on the power-maker.

It seems that way doesn't it? I wanted to do mine for a while, you beat me to it.

But I don't know how much of a trend this will be. I don't think this "mod" is very popular.
