Default body trim and seats, oh my...!!

I have this trim piece, the one right behind the front well, that pushes out at the top. It isnt really noticeable but annoys me. It does make it sit at a slightly wrong angle though. I have tried, unsuccesfully to use trim adhesive but doesnt even begin to work. Does this whole stupid thing need to come off and reinstalled or what???? I will try and post a picture soon.

Oh, and one more question, I have a wear whole on my driver seat on the piece of the backrest that is nearest the door. Any good ideas for fixing this without spending a mint to get it reupholsterd. I have a vynal (spelling) repair kit, but I figure it looks better with a whole than a big gob of vynal goop on it.

Thanks guys,

the trim peice..im assuming your talking about the body cladding part, its held in by a cip thats fasend to the body..anyways, it can be intresting to try and re attach the trim piece to the body..hah trust me, if u can avoid it, i would.
The leather lumbar peice on the drivers side, that seems pretty normal for these cars, my old bonneville was the same way, most are...you can leather treat it so its a bit stronger, other than that, getting that one peice recoverd is about it...
