Default 12000k hid kit on stock headlights?

im thinking about getting an hid kid for my ssei.... my question is would there be a chance of me oem head light assembly melting if i install the hid kit ????

It'* not going to melt but 12,000K is going to be very purple and not very much light output, I would say 10,000K at the highest, I like the 8,000K

I wouldnt go past 8k, your light output will go down. 6k is the most light you can use

what light output do u have crunkfunk ? cuz im thinking about getting a hid kit in a couple of days...the color looks sick on your ride ! is it 10,000k or 8,000k ?

8,000K but that is with projectors too so it will look a little more blue in your housings

can i still use the hid'* with the stock headlamp assemblies without them melting? and if not is there an after market head lamp assembly with the projector lens already in it ? would the color or brightness be hindered if i dont get projector lights ?

Yep you need 9006 bulbs for the stock housing

nobody makes a housing for the Bonne, mine is completely custom

8000K will look like an iceburg blue in your housings, mine are actually a little more white than they look in the picture you see

so can i get the 9006 hid kit @ 8000k for a dark blue look like your signature pic ? it looks sick! if it does im sold on the hid kit ...

The point of HID is to increase light, not change color. People that do it for color is the reason why other motorists hate HID lights. If you stick with the stock housings, I beg you to PLEASE use 6,000k lights, and not 8,000k.
