Default 02 vs. 05 paint codes (silver)

Wife knocked a mirror off this morning Does anyone know offhand if an '05 silver paint might be the about same color as '02 silver? I'm trying to avoid painting one from the salvage yard.

Paint codes are in Techinfo. Including a guide to determine your code.

I printed this guide out and haven't found the sticker on the car. I looked in the locations the guide points out as well as on the doors, in the trunk, under the hood... Any idea where it would be?

Did you pull out the large black plastic panel from underneath your carpeting that covers the spare tire well? The SPO label should be affixed somewhere on there. This is the only location on the 2002 it will be found.

Your other option is to call a local dealer with your VIN number and they can look it up based on that.

Exactly, the sticker said "U519F". Got REALLY lucky on a door mirror, asked the salvage yard to search for a "silver" one, found an '05 and when it came in it matched. So I won't have to order paint after all (for the time being)
