What are 1967 Model Codes 52, 56, 62 and 66?
Hi all,
I was asking over in General Chat about a positive ID on GM part number 5959378:
Can anyone ID GM part number 5959378? - Pontiac Bonneville Forum - Official home of the Pontiac Bonneville Club.
...but I'm doing most of the talking (to myself ) over there. Finally remembered to scroll down the list of forum areas on the main page, and Lo and Behold, here'* the Classics section, so let me start again:
GM part 5959378 is a clear, right-hand front turn signal lens. I found an old GM parts database on-line that identified it with a description reading only "1967 52-56-62-66." I assume the 2-digit numbers are model series, but which ones? I'm thinking those numbers are the second and third digits of the body code (where the first digit is 2 for Pontiac, if I remember right), but I'm having no luck finding a listing of '67 model codes. Can anyone identify those four 2-digit codes for me? TIA...

Thanks! I was trying to put together a knowledgeable eBay listing for the thing (i.e. one with enough searchable keywords in it, such as model names, that people would be able to find it even without knowing the part number in advance). I ended up listing it anyway, as I figured I couldn't do any worse with it than the guy who was listing another example of one as a 1969 part, but eventually had no takers. I'll try relisting it soon, and will be able to include the correct model names now, so thanks again.
