hey all, been meaning to join a forum about bonnevilles for a wihle but.. never got the time.

The main reason I am here:



This is my families 1981 bonneville broham (sp) 2 door, pretty much loaded. The car was bought only months before I was born and has stayed in the family because of the sentimental value that it holds if nothing more. It was my families daily driver for 15 years has 130k miles on it and still drives pretty good.

I would like to know some more information about this vehicle, I realize that 81 was the last year this body style was called the bonneville and I also note that I have only seen 1 other version of this car in the past 10+ years.. and that was a 4 door. I do not beleive this car is terriblly popular, but I do think its rathre uncommon. Am I right for thinking this? does anyone know how many of these were made?

Most of the members here have '87 on up, the front wheel drive models. Give it some time, someone may be able to help you.

Wish I could help... Very nice lookin car though. Seems to be in good shape.
