the hood release cable on my 1975 grand safari has broken at the point where it seems the rear and front sections of the cable attach together. there is a long white plastic piece attached to the top pf the fender well. it has cracked. I can only find a replacement for the rear piece that goes through the firewall. this is ok, as is the part attached to the radiator support.
how do I repair this? is this piece.connector something i can get.
