hood release cable
Anybody knows how to remove (replace) the hood release cable? The biggest problem is the firewall grommet. I have the feeling that it must be rotated until something aligns with a notch.

Pretty sure that grommet has squeeze clips on the inside. Pull back the firewall padding and you should be able to see it.

IIRC the rubber grommet has a channel that it pops into... Removal and replacement is not too hard either
