Just a suggestion....SEAFOAM! Its cheap and may just fix that crappy running condition. Through the gas to clean out carb jets and through the carb to clean out the carbon. Hell, even into the crankcase to clean out old built up sludge from sitting. This should probably be a good priority on the list of improvements towards getting it running better.

It'* likely I'll just replace the carb entirely though. A good rebuilt 4 barrel Holley carb has come WAY down in price. It'* now >$300! I cannot WAIT to get this car at 100% again. I miss the rear tires breaking loose when I hit the gas just a liiiiittle too hard.
