Default Steering wheel Position Sensor 15112675

Hey guys. My 08 Tahoe gets a SERVICE STABILITRAK error and Chevy dealership says it my steering wheel position sensor that needs replaced.

problem is that the sensor (PN 15886733)is discontinued and I can’t find one anywhere. I went to the junkyard and pulled one out of an 07 Tahoe LTZ(closest year I could find) and the PN is 15112675.

does anyone know if this will work in my 08? I read that 15886733 replaced 15112675 so I’m hoping that the one I found at junkyard in the 07 will work

thanks for any input
