Default Question about Hidraulic Direction

Hi guys how are you? hope ok.

i have a problem right now with the direction of the impala ls 2000, the Rack and pinion is leaking all the steering fluid, it started as something low, then medium and now it dosnt hold the fluid for more than some meters, and you can clearly see it leaking from the Rack and pinion, so my question is:

should i go for a complete seal kit? it looks like theres no visual damage in the unit, and should i buy the softride or the non softride option for the kit? my car is the ls model, how do i know which version does it use?.

The rack has to come out anyway, might as well replace the whole unit. Just my .02

That is much better news over having to replace the rack!
Dont forget to bleed the air out after replacing the hose.
Keep an eye on the fluid levels, fill to cold, and turn wheels back & forth 10x should help bleed the system. Good Luck!
