New chevy impala 2014- with damage to engine cradle/
The vehicle had a road ready inspection at the dealer it was sold at, pretty sketchy place. it passed apparently with no problem.... i dont know how to determine if it is bent or not i put a level on it and its dead nuts. dont know if that even means anything. going to the dealer tomorrow to see if any of this can be fixed on there end with the connecticuts used car warranty, and i got the 60 days/ 3000 miles. im on day 22 so hopefully theyll help me out here. guessing theyll be looking to give me a hard time. Bottom line if the engine cradle is bent is it necessary to replace?
Regarding the bent-frame possibility: have them put it on a 4-wheel alignment machine it and see how it comes out. If the frame is bent it will show there, and it'* easier and less-expensive than putting it on a frame machine.

If it is bent then you probably should. Personally I give it a 30% chance that it'* bent. That sub--frame is pretty tough. Look at all of the mounts to see if they are disturbed/cracked/at a weird angle/etc.

Thanks for all the replies, turns out all of my issues are covered by the warranty and the shop the dealer uses is replacing the sub-frame, putting in a new rack and even getting me a brand new right rear tire thats dry rotted. Looks like i lucked out here thanks a bunch everyone!
