New 2022 HD2500 "Service 4 Wheel Drive Light" stuck in auto mode
Over the weekend I got a service 4 wheel drive light and the transfer case was stuck in 4 wheel drive "auto" mode. Did some internet research and tried to do what I could over the weekend before going into the dealer. One website mentioned to check fuses, so I pulled out the two that I thought were related to the system: one was the TCCM 30 amp and another 10 amp but not sure it was related. Ohm'd them out and put them back in and the problem went away. So I went into the dealer so see what the store fault was and they said it would be 2 weeks to get to it and I had to leave it with them, not too thrilled with that response and no loaner program according to the service rep.
So I thought I would reach out here and see what people think, what I do remember is the traction broke loose while going from auto to 4 wheel high (during the shifting process) and then the light popped on. I am curious if I reset something on the transfer case control module (TCCM) by pulling the fuse. And do I have a problem that warrants me having Chevy tie up my vehicle for 2 weeks and drive it until it comes back.
Any way...thanks in advance for everyone'* opinions/comments

No codes...the dealer said there is a 2 week wait on service techs to look at the codes and I needed to leave the truck. I said screw it and will take my chances, just wanted anyone'* experience/history on this issue. I did call the neighboring city dealer and they said if the service light is out and no check engine light, it would be hard to diagnose and unless it was saved in history, they wouldn't be able to find anything. So I guess I drive it until it breaks, but they did manage to recommend not using the 2/4 wheel drive "automatic" mode. They mentioned it is more prone to lock up issues because of all the sensors in the system. And this dealer at least would make me an appointment, unlike the dealer in my city.

Ridiculous.
Yeah but without a hard fault now, it would have to go back to the techs, the service agent had a generic tool but didn't even get up to try. I've never had an issue before with them, but when i called the neighboring dealer, he said he had received 5 calls today alone on similar situations. I might elevate this to GM and let them know, not sure it is worth my time.
