Can someone please help me with some suggestions on how to fix my power steering. i have a cobalt/G5, and my power steering keeps shutting down then working again. Now it has stopped working altogether. It is showing code U2111. I have recently replaced the rack and pinon but this power steering issue started happening before i replaced that. Thank you in advance!

From your profile your 2006 cobalt/G5 was recalled for steering issues.
Probably best to have GM look at it, as it is a recall item.

Thanks for the reply. I have contacted gm and they told me my recalls have been done already. So this sucks. They wouldn't even tell me what was replaced on the car. Said they weren't allowed to disclose that information.

You can get a printout, of every campaign done to your car(tells you when it was done).....once you have the campaign #, you can then request a copy of the campaign....that will tell you what was installed....
