Default GDS2 and Tech2Win on Chevy Express

Hello all,

I have reprogrammed before my 2010 TCM module via the online SPS programming TIS2web with the paid service using my VCXnano from Vxdiag.

I have 2 work vans
2010 Chevy Express 4.8L and
2016 Chevy Express 4.8L.

These vans if I recall correctly having the same engine, transmission, and everything. My main question is, would it be okay to look at DTCs and reset or relearn via the GDS2 application for a 2010? Supposedly, any vehicle before 2013 you need to use Tech2Win, but I selected 2014-2016 years on my GDS2 for my 2010 vehicle and all the modules populated along with DTCs and options to test the components. So basically, is it okay to use a gds2 2014+ vehicle type on a 2010 Chevrolet Express van?

I have attached some pictures of the gds2 set on 2016 for my 2010 vehicle.

I've been able to trick them using the info for a later model.
