any video or tutorial on how to change it? i want to know the procedure to inspect the gm mechanic do it good.

If you can get your hands on some snap ring pliers, that makes it much easier to remove the snap ring. Otherwise, a small screwdriver will work to pry out the snap ring. Once its. out, twist the FPR until it pops out. Much like a cork really.

Make sure to relieve the pressure from the fuel rail. I hate to admit it but I've been squirted in the eye more than once with gas and it sucks!

Looks like a different kind of clip instead of the snap-ring kind.

What does yours look like? Picture?

mine looks like the classic snap ring, that also comes with the delco FPR.

i was thinking about doing it myself, since the procedure looks simple.

I don't see why you should not be able to use both, the one in the pic just looks like it would provide a little added protection, and the way it should clip on should not interfere with the classic snap ring.
Of course you do not need to use it at all, but it would not hurt if it slides on there like I am thinking.

if it does i will use it.

ok done, didnt use the other clip, now the car starts at first try, and the rpm are at 800+ .
