Default Gas leak.

I have a 1995 S10 Blazer 4x4 2dr with the Vortec 4.3. my question is can I use a piece of rubber hose on my fuel supply line to stop a leak. Have already cut and used a compression Union but it still leaks. I really don't wanna have to replace the whole line cuz that would involve dropping the gas tank.

Compression union should have worked....cleanliness is next to godliness....

If you use fuel line and double hose clamp each end, and bend back the free end of the hose clamp, should be ok, but I only look at that as a temporary fix....
