Default Flat tow concerns

I am new to flat towing. So far I getting very mixed messages on how to do it appropriately. I have a 2019 Chevrolet traverse LT awd . I would like to know the safest and best way to flat tow without doing damage to my transmission or anything else. Perhaps someone else has the same model and they successfully flat towed with it for a while. I would be grateful for the guidance and suggestions.
thank you very much. Tumbleweed

No problem! I've flat-towed the previous generation a bunch, and it was more complicated in the manual and in real life. This looks easier. If you have any questions I might be able to help answer.

I am truly grateful for the response I’ve gotten from you and others. We’ve always towed with a tow dolly when we had our A classes. We just are getting to the point where we don’t want to deal with tow dollies flat towing, according to friends is much easier to set up. Also easier to Tow.
we got caught in the hurricane in Florida and lost grand design solitude that was tied down at a good park near Punta Gorda. Decided we always want to be mobile from now on! Thus, the c class.

Ah okay . . . and no tow-dollying an AWD too.

Sorry to hear about the Grand Design!

Thank you. We had it in GA and had to come to FL for medical issues. We got it totally tied down and skirted a week before Ian hit. Flipped it over. 160 mph in park with mini tornadoes. Crazy! That’* when we decided to go C class. When I beat the medical challenge, never will be here during hurricane season again for sure.
Thank you again for all the info and guidance. I’m going to my Chevy dealership and have them walk me trough everything too.
Be well,
Larry

Wow yeah 160MPH will do it! Glad you are safe . . . and that you beat the medical challenge!

I'll visit Florida in hurricane season, but usually by flying . . . and knowing that I might change my plans if a storm starts brewing.

Good luck with the Class C!
