Default 98 malibu gas tank wont fill

this is a hit or miss thing looking on line looks like its the vent control valve ,the car runs great no codes.so I what I need to know is where it is located on this car because the part I find on line looks nothing like what I am finding on the net how to any how to for this car thanks

Looks like this:



Look at the rear of the gas tank, you will see the canister tucked up high....follow the large hose from the canister to the vent solenoid....

I have seen problems with the harness to the vent solenoid....

Also, do not attempt to fill tank while the car is running....

Usually if there is a vent solenoid problem, an emission code is set....

ok thanks I seen that when I was under there but I was not shore because auto zone shows something deferent I will test the harness and clean the connection thanks
