3400 02 Chevy Venture Rrandom No Start
Hey everybody, new here so if I'm doing something wrong please inform me. Anyways I am having a no start issue on a 2002 Chevy Venture wondering if anyone else has experienced the same. Will start sometimes other times it will not. Seems to be when left parked outside is when the no start happens. I have 55 psi at fuel rail, have spark, will start with starting fluid. I don't think injectors are pulsating but then will go away and start again. No engine codes. No security light that I can see. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Any more info you need please let me know. Again doesn't seem to do it when parked in garage overnight, but if left outside seems to cause the issue.
Some ideas are cam position sensor, broken wire to injectors. Please help!!! Thanks!!!

I'm thinking the fuel pressure may be just a bit low. If this is the CPI fuel system with the spider unit under the plenum the FP should be 58 to 60 to run correctly and need at least 55 to start.

First thing you have to do, is look at the SECURITY LIGHT in the instrument panel.......turn the key to on(don't crank), observe the light....after 3-5 seconds it should go out....if our, now turn to crank and it should start......
If you turn to on, and after 3-5 seconds, the light stays on solid, or flashes....there is a problem, and it shouldn't start.......
There is one other scenario.......car starts, then sometime later, while the car is running, the SECURITY LIGHT comes on....." If the key is turned to OFF, the vehicle will be fail enabled and will start if the condition still exists at the next attempt to start the vehicle will remain fail enable."
A SECURITY problem will disable the injectors.....
You said there were no codes, but most scan tools/code readers only read P codes....it'* possible there might be B or U codes present, which your tool can't read.....

Carfixer, this is not CPI.....It'* just sequential injection with 6 injectors attached to a fuel rail....been uses on 3.1/3.4'* for centuries....

So when I turn the key to on, no security light comes on can't see where there would be a security light even. Is it possible this is the issue and the bulb for the light is burnt out? I've looked for that thinking that may be the issue. But don't even see a security option. I recently programmed a fob to it as well.

Also thank you guys for your quick replies. I will be looking for a shadow of where a security light could be in the dash tonight when I get home. And carfixer, I looked at spec and it says 48-55? Is this not right?
