Due to body damage, the door handle on the outside of my 2014 Malibu would not operate. Jammed and would not move. I removed the handle (possibly a little too roughly) and repaired the door. Now when I try to reinstall the handle the handle or long part will not go back in place. I purchased a new assembly but cannot determine how to r&r it. How can I tell if the whole assembly actually has to be replaced or I am just installing the handle incorrectly? If the assembly has to be replaced is anyone aware of a video or specific instructions on how to do so.
