Does anyone have the procedure for replacing a thermostat on a 2012 Camaro 3.6 with diagrams ?

Unfortunately I don't recall seeing anything of the sort here, however a quick Google landed me here:

I would be anxious to see someone do a writeup on it however to help expand our knowledge base. That would be awesome, especially with it looking as complicated as it does.

Also, in the brief searches thus far, there has been a recurring warning that I have encountered. That engine supposedly runs best when it is ran hot and sucking cold air, so if you are looking to drop the thermostat temp just to run it cooler (mechanical issues aside), it may be worth some further research.
