I replied to this a few days ago but apparently my post did not make it through. Hope all is better on you and your wife'* condition. My wife went through it and had her quarantined to the bedroom. She'* over all that now and only suffered through minor symptoms. Fortunately I never got it but I was quarantined at home for two weeks as the head chef and caretaker.
