Default 2010 Malibu Pressure Control Solenoid

Hi,

I have a 2010 Chevy Malibu 1LT and currently it'* locked in 1st gear. I hooked up code scanner to it and received the code P0776- Pressure Control Solenoid B stuck off. How can I fix this problem and approximately how much would it cost me.

Unfortunately, there is no pat answer......First, it has to be diagnosed.......

P0776 means, anything in the electrical circuit or anything that the solenoid controls could be the problem......

By electrical circuit, it could be the wiring between the solenoid and the PCM, the PCM, or the solenoid....

Could be an obstruction in the valve body.......

There are special tools to diagnose this, that only GM shops or transmission shops have....

More often than not it'* the "B" solenoid, that is the problem.......but I have seen solenoids replaced, even transmissions replaced, because of a wiring problem.....

Thanks. I'll definitely be taking to a transmission shop. I don't want to pay the price, but if paying more means getting the correct problem fixed the correct way than it'll be worth it.
