Hi guys and gals i got a 2001 chevy monte carlo ss with a 3.8L v6 L36. recently i had to have my BCM replaced after having my BCM replaced my airbag light came on my interior lights dont automatically come on and the radio will not play any sound. I did have to disconnect my battery at one point and discovered that the radio would play music my airbag light went away and my interior lights worked by the engine would not crank . does any one have any ideas on whats going on?

Sounds like the new BCM is bad or not properly programmed. Did the dealer replace it?

If its indeed a new Bcm or a reman, don't be surprised if its also bad. And as stated it may not be setup correctly.
