Thank you, I will definitely fix it. I just want to try it to make sure it'* the problem. I have a tcc solenoid sitting on my desk for it. Just takes alot to get to it so would like to know it'* it.

The thing is you may need to replace the valve body, or at the least is to hone the bore for the TCC. These tend to get oval shaped over time and they stick in the bore.
Make sure you keep far enough away form the connector when snipping. You'll want to be able to repair the cut if you want to rix it.

Thank you for all your help, I will probably just go ahead and drop a valve body in it then for safety if cutting the wire fixes it.

That'* up to you. I worked on a lot of poor peoples stuff out in the boonies of PA and I did that to a few that left it cut and it never stalled anymore and they drove them for many years like that.

For sure, I will probably run it that way for a bit. Even with a little less gas miles it should do better then my Tahoe lol

It won't make much difference unless you do a lot of highway driving.

The fluid coupling of the converter does create more heat than the direct couple of a locked converter but this is not a problem in most circumstances. Those who pull a trailer or such you would likely want to add an external cooler.

I will not be pulling anything with it. I do usaly drive between 55mph and 60 due to most of my driving being on the main roads to work.
