OK, thank you for the updates and help.

The latest is that I have flipped positions of the fuses 42 and 45, 45 was the fuse that made the fan stay running. All is well now (well the fan isn't running but I still have a problem, I haven't driven it yet to see if it overheats, I don't know what fuse 42 actually does)

I had replaced the fuses it is hard to believe that I have a bad new fuse and put it in the same place as the bad fuse that was in the box. Anyway I an going to get a new fuse Tuesday and try it.

Maybe someone can let me know what fuse 42 actually controls. FYI I have manually checked the fuses with 12 volt battery and continuity all seemed good they clicked and past continuity.

I still can't locate a schematic to be able to trace anything.

These guys may have it. If they have your vehicle it'll be in there.

Are you intending that removing the fuse so that the fan never runs is the fix? If so, this isn't a good idea.

Personally, I don't believe any fuses are the problem.

A fuse CANNOT be your problem. You do not have a loss of needed power you have power when not needed.
Since it can not be the problem it also can not be the fix.

I realize now that Fuse 42 says STARTER, but the starter still works and the car still starts.

No I am not intending on leaving the fuse removed. As a matter of fact I just moved the two fused (exchange them)
Actually is was 41 not 42 that I exchanged.

I agree but don't know what else it was. I can't check it again until the fan comes on again. I was thinking that I fusse could be stuck "on"
