Default Can someone locate a parts number for me? I've had no luck

I'm looking for the part number for the clips that hold the dash trim in place. It'* also the same clips that the trim around the instrument cluster uses.

I've called both GM dealers in town, emailed GM directly, and looked online myself and can't find the part number, I have also had zero luck locating my car in junk yards around me, or in any of the other 20 that I called in 4 different states. I found some online but since I don't have the parts number I can't verify if it'* the right one or not.

Welcome to the forums Justin!
From your 93 Caddy Fleetwood can you post a photo of what the clips look like or a link to the other clips you found that look similar?
I am wondering if talked to a GM body shop, if one of the guys there may be able to help you get the correct ones.

Thanks for the welcome. I was actually hoping not to have to remove the trim again until I had the clips, every time I do a clip manages to snap off and fly inside the dash which is why I'm looking for new ones lol. But if that'* what I gotta do then I will do it here soon.

I think this one looks similar but it'* hard to tell without the part in hand and it'* not the best angle either.

Oh that really is the part for the dash trim? Since the name said Dash Retaining Clips I didn't know what specifically it was for

I am not positive, but I may have found it, unfortunately I cannot find any detailed pics of the part, but maybe you can find a local dealer that has the part, and for and see if they match before buying.

Number 31 in the pic is this clip, hopefully it is the right one.

31 doesn't quite look right to me, I'm thinking 42 or 56 but of course I could be wrong too. Since you posted that pic I can clarify a bit better, the clips I'm looking for go on the back of numbers 17, 40, and 41....if that helps anyone at all.

Even though that didn't narrow it down much you helped me in another area by simply posting this link because there are parts that this website should have that I have been searching for so a HUGE thank you for that, even though it wasn't the intention lol.

I've searched the site for a while, and part 31 is the only one that comes close to saying it is for that interior molding trim, sorry I was not able to locate them.
You may need to see if you can find a salvage yard that has some, here is a site you can use to help you locate some salvage yards nearby that have the same vehicle as you.
