I looked at the part you posted and that close but not it the part I’m actually talking about is right above that one and it seals to the lower main web and the oil pan, it’* sandwiched I the middle let me see if I can figure out how to attach a pic It’* the plate at the bottom of the block about 1/4” thick I am find them for up to an 06 4.6 but not an 09
Yes that’* what I was looking for thank you, if anyone has any of the torque specs for the main bolts, oil manifold, and pan that would help a bunch too, I did a search and maybe I looked past it or didn’t look hard enough but did not find the specs or procedure for sealing the manifold just that some had used the AC Delco sealant on the manifold upon installation. If there is some good info on this like I said previously even a point in the direction of the info would be greatly appreciated.
Oil manifold plate bolt is 89 lb.in,main bolts are 15lb.ft and 65 degrees, perimeter bolts are 22 lb.ft. your this far make sure the lower crank case isn't leaking. at this point the lower crank case is loose and staying in place by the dowel pins and the oil pump bolts
Thanks a bunch that was what I needed, I will take a closer look at the lower crank case but I’m pretty sure it was bone dry around where that meets the block.
