Question What'* the letter code mean?

New member: I am restoring my 1977 Buick Regal that I bought new. It has just under 100000 miles. It has the 350J engine with 4 barrel carb and turbo 350 trans.
The emissions/ tune up label has info across the upper edge worn off. I am trying to get it replicated, but haven't had any success. In the top left hand corner is details about the engine. I have looked at several examples of GM emission labels and there is a letter code. Some are 2 letters, others are 3. I was told that it was related to info on the build sheet. I have that, but can not correlate anything on it to a 2 or 3 letter code. I thought maybe it was tied to the build sequence. My car was sequence 530, on the 09 day of month 09. Does anyone have input as to what this letter code should be?

Is it a Buick 350 or an Oldsmobile 350?

You're looking for a replacement label, right?

Cool to know a Buick 350 is still out there doing its thing!

You might want to try these guys: https://www.bodyshopbusiness.com/rep...essure-decals/

Not sure if they go back that far, but they'd be a good place to try. They might also know where to point you if they don't go back that far.

your emissions system is designated by an RPO code. 3 letters and/or numbers.
they begin at NA1 and go up to NN9. I have a list in a pdf file but can't figure out how to copy and paste it here.
there are about 26 codes listed. Google GM RPO codes. There are a bunch of different sites that have them. And if you have your build sheet, it should be on there. let us know it you find it!

Thanks for the suggestions. So far, I still haven't had any luck with this label. The site suggested by CathedralClub made my door label, but said they could not make my emission label. I checked on the suggestion about the RPO codes, but what I am looking for is different than that. Example below. The AY code is what I am looking for. That may be the same for my car since this one was on a 77 Buick Lesabre. I did find a list posted on a Camaro forum that had every engine/trans option from 1970 thru 1981 with the emissions engine code.
