Stiff Steering When Cold !!
The ole 97 PA had super stiff steering, even after driving for 10 minutes.
So bad, it would not return easily in turns.
I guess the old fluid was dirty/thickening in the cold and needed to be re-freshed.
Just as a test, I put the used fluid in the freezer, 2 days. Yup thickening it was, but still had fluid movement.
I suctioned out the reservoir good, twice now. Using GM/Delco #19329449.
The fluid is much better now, and the stiff steering seems to be gone.
I suppose flushing the system is in order sometime when it is warmer outside!
Hmm.. I wonder if the flush can be done without starting it ??
When I do flush, maybe I should use this....
