Question Is removing the driver'* seat from 2016 Buick LaCrosse easy?

I have a 2016 Buick LaCrosse Sport Touring 1SH with an 8-way Power, 4-way Lumbar, and Memory Control Driver Seat.

I need to replace the motor that moves the seat forward and backward.

Question 1: Is removing the driver'* seat and accessing motor easy?

Question 2: Can anyone recommend a good 2016 LaCrosse Shop Manual?

Thanks!

For me, yes. For others, yes and no. The answer to this question mostly depends on experience, aptitude, ability, available resources, guile, dedication, resourcefulness, and vocabulary when things don't go as well as we'd rather they go.

Haynes doesn't have one yet. It looks like there are a few options online, but unknown how good they are and/or ethical the sellers are. There'* always Alldata and I've seen some good stuff in Autozone'* offering as well.

If you are just wanting it for this seat repair, it'* probably not worth buying a manual.

So true. Also applies to brain surgery and building nuclear power plants!

If Haynes or Chilton did or was going to, I think 2016 would have been the last year of the book. So I guess they won't.

I thought all data was the product AutoZone offered.
