Default Power steering

I have a 1999 Buick Regal with the 3.8. I replaced the power steering pump a while back because of a failure. It leaked at the time. I still have a leak that i cannot find. Fluid is around the pump and the pressure line and return. I have wiped everything off but cannot locate the leak. I am going to assume if it was the pressure line and it had a leak, it would be spraying out. So my thought is the return rubber hose that connects to the pump. Am i looking in the right direction? I have left the wheel off and had my sone turn the wheel all the way both ways with the vehicle running and do not see fluid coming out.

If your high side is leaking it may only do so under full lock. Have him hold it on full lock and see if it starts leaking.

Don't rule out the oil pressure sensor. Disconnect it and look inside the connector, if its wet, you may have found your leak. And they only leak when the engine runs.

Is the power steering fluid level going down?

Not unless it is really bad. Even with a bunch of pressure, a small enough leak will seep slowly.

Maybe, but trace it and see. Personally, unless the car has had some major damage I wouldn't look here as it is not under pressure and hoses don't rot like they did a few decades ago.

The left (driver'* side) wheel being off won't show you very much related to the power steering system.

Default Power streering

I have the passenger tire off and looking at the lines at the pump. That whole area is saturated with power steering fluid. It must be a slow leak because it has been 2-3 months since i replaced the pump. So it was full then and very little in it now. I will check the sensor and fully lock the wheel in one direction this weekend. Thanks for the advice.
