Pk Ave driver's door lock Switch !
Some how broke or it is pushed back in a bit ...
got pushed in on the top unlock area. Switch still work but it is no longer holding properly to the door panel.
How are these switch'* attached from the rear of the panel?
Any thoughts to repair?
Sounds like from the heat inside car, that something went pop as the top of the switch went inwards...

Thanks WNCRick -
Is it possible to only remove the armrest panel ??
Looks like door lock switch area may be one piece with armrest panel?
Or do I have to remove the entire door trim panel?

Mine is a 1996. If I remember right mine had a small area around the lock switch that was held in place by a single torx head screw. That is all I had to remove. My armrest can only be removed after the entire panel is removed. Take a look at this video and see if yours is made similarly.
Hopefully that will help if yours is anything like mine.

I had the same problem a few years back. I simply removed the door panel and cut a small wood block to mount behind the switch and affectively shim it off the door itself. I cannot recall exactly how you remove the door panel but I do remember it was the easiest door panel I ever removed. I think you just remove some screws and raise the door panel straight up and off the clips that retain it. Most door panels you have to pry a bunch of clips off and they typically get ruined in the process.
Rick ya the 97 to 05 are a redesign.
I finally found the FSM section and ur diagram is correct Thanks.
Greg, once I get the panel off without hopefully breaking it,or wires inside, I should be able to get at that stupid clip that has snapped.
Will figure out a fix like you both did once I see what'* not right in there.
