Default Park Avenue Problem

My dad has a 1992 Buick Park Avenue Ultra with the Supercharged engine. When he takes the oil fill cap off the engine runs rough then dies. The car has 191,000 miles.

Have you replaced the PCV valve? It could very well be as simple as that.

The car has 191K on it. Do you think it should be replaced?

check all vacuum lines, especially the one going to the brake booster, that one is a killer!
It is true that the engine at idle will bog down a bit once the cap is removed, but it should not stall
Any other symptoms we should be aware of?
Poor mileage, miss fires, any stored codes?
