I have a service engine light that stays on for a minute or two then goes out? having the battery unplugged should be resetting this each time? along with erasing memory? The ICP is the panel to the right of the speedometer cluster? don't have a manual. I believe a bulb may be burned out of one of the idiot lights by the service engine lite. this won't effect the way the engine runs? wish it had plates on it so I could test drive it some.

the IPC is the term for the speedo cluster, because it does more than just display things these days. disconnecting the battery doesnt do anything to reset codes on obdII cars, if its going on and off whatever is causing the code is intermittent. you wouldnt think that they would design it so any lights would cause problems but that im not really sure. if that 650 is all your getting you shouldnt have any drive-ability issues.
