oil leak
my 1999 buick has developed an oil leak that i can not find, it is on the water pump side of the engine, the belts are not wet but below the power steering pump it is very saturated with oil, i am losing a quart of oil every 2 days, is possible that the timing chain has become so loose that it has worn a hole on the timing chain cover? and how long is the timing chain itself good for, i have 200,000 on the engine, it looks has though i might have to pull the engine just to find the leak.

did not mean to confuse any one, I made a reply to mike about ICM, but I also made a new thread about oil consumption on the Chevy pick up trucks that I had a question about, it seems that from 2008 to 2014 GM had problems with truck engines burninig oil and fouling the plugs and was wondering if GM solved the problem?
