My wife'* old 93 would bubble like that when the fan fuses went.

That was something that went through my mind aswell, but when I took off the superchargher yesterday I figured that my coolant would be brown or too clear, but instead it was very green. I looked rich to me. Oldsman noted that the radiator was put in fairly recently. We also did check for the fans to kick in at the right temp. and they do (we checked when we had scan tool).

That could be a bad radiator cap. One of the reasons your only supposed to open them when cool is the sudden drop in pressure will also suddenly lower the boiling point and cause coolant inside the engine to suddenly boil.

It could also be a bad head gasket, they can bubble exhaust gases into the coolant ...

I hope its just the cap.

I will try changing the radiator cap. I will give that a shot next time I get a chance to go see the car.
