Default Manual lumbar support in a 2003 Buick LeSabre

Hello all, Okay all is power except the lumbar support which is adjusted by ***** on the sides of the seats. Now the **** on my driver'* side just turns and turns, Not sure but, Somehow making me think it could be a cable if I could be so lucky but I have no idea really. Called the dealership and they said they were 2 parts one was a rod that was available for well over $200 and the other wasn't available. But I'm sure I could get these from a salvage yard. So any ideas on these parts I might need and where to start? I'm sure the seat will have to be pretty much torn apart I'm guessing. So thanks ahead for any and all help !

Your best bet, is to remove the lower seat cushion cover, just enough to pull it back half way, and do the same for the back cover, then move the seat padding so that you can see what you are up against....

Thanks Tech II, Yeah I was hoping I could get some kind of idea what I was getting into as far as parts and such. But like you said guess I'm just gonna have to wait til warm weather comes back around and I'm assuming I'm will have to take this seat completely out I'm thinking to tear it apart and see what'* inside and not working. But as far as the part'* go hoping tore up seat at my local selvage yard and just get the part'* out of it. Again thanks ! 😊 And sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place which I'm sure I have...
