If you were to ever replace the actual lower brake lights I believe you'd need the 1157'*..

I have 3057'* for my brake lights also, if those 3457'* worked that well for you I may consider getting them, I can get 2 for 9.00

The good LED'* are pretty costly, found 60w LED and 80w LED'*

80w LED'*
Regular Brake Light
Amazon.com: 2PCS ARTR Red 3157 (3056 3057 3156 4157...) 80W Epistar LED Light Bulbs Super Bright for Brake Stop Tail Light: Automotive Amazon.com: 2PCS ARTR Red 3157 (3056 3057 3156 4157...) 80W Epistar LED Light Bulbs Super Bright for Brake Stop Tail Light: Automotive

Turn Signal Brake Light
Amazon.com: 2PCS Aaron Red 3157 (3156 3057 3056) High Power 5730 33SMD LED Bulbs for Turn Signal Brake Tail Lights: Automotive Amazon.com: 2PCS Aaron Red 3157 (3156 3057 3056) High Power 5730 33SMD LED Bulbs for Turn Signal Brake Tail Lights: Automotive

---------------------------------------

60W LED'*

Regular Brake Lights
Amazon.com: 2Pcs Aaron Red 3157 3156 3057 60W Epistar LED Bulbs for Brake Tail Stop Lights: Automotive Amazon.com: 2Pcs Aaron Red 3157 3156 3057 60W Epistar LED Bulbs for Brake Tail Stop Lights: Automotive

Turn Signal Brake Lights
http://www.amazon.com/Aaron-Power-33...2&sr=1-2-spons

"" Application: Turn signals ( Need 50W 6ohm load resistors) Brake Stop Tail Light
80W is not the real power consumption. Each bulbs contains 16pcs 5W Epistar LED chips. The real power consumption is 9.6W. Should be the brightest 3157 Red LED bulbs in the market""

I am pretty sure you'd need the load resistors for the turn signal lights, so you do not have Hyperflash..
Amazon.com: 4Pcs Aaron 50W 6ohm Load Resistors - Fix LED Bulb Fast Hyper Flash Turn Signal Blink Error Code: Automotive Amazon.com: 4Pcs Aaron 50W 6ohm Load Resistors - Fix LED Bulb Fast Hyper Flash Turn Signal Blink Error Code: Automotive

I don't think I'd use those splice connectors that come with the resistors though, I'd rather cut the wire, twist the wire ends and solder the wires up, then heat-shrink wrap them.

NOTE: Just noticed the brake light / turn signal lights that came up when I searched for the brighter LED'* were the same...
Looks like 65.00 to replace the 2 brake lights, and 2 turn signal lights, sheesh... I think I like the 9.00 option to replace the 2 reg brake lights..

Do you think the little bit of extra heat will be ok?
I am sure it will be fine for the ones that light up when you are reversing, because they never stay lit for long doing that.

Trying to decide if I should get two packs of 2 to upgrade my brake and brake light turn signals..

I may just get one set of two for my back up lights, and see how they work, should make reversing a lot easier to do in the dark.

3457'* are fine. I checked the connector/wiring & socket not burned at all.
They are only 1.6 watts brighter.
Aftermarket may even sell dedicated, brighter, reverse halogen bulbs.
