Default Intermittent stalling 1999 Buick LeSabre heelp

Sooo I bought a 1999 LeSabre last summer with 40000 miles on it for cheeeap because the e brake was wedged on the back passenger side and the car would go forward but not backwards (or vice versa) irrelevant, anyway! So after a while the engine became flooded with coolant, stop leak, water...muddy mess. A less than proficient person cleaned and re sealed the upper and lower intake and it was running fine. Some months later it started stalling when not going very fast or going uphill. Code implied maf was bad, I changed it and it didn't fix it. Cleaned iac and it was fixed. FF to now it'* doing something similar intermittently... Engine light on when it'* misbehaving, off when it'* not. It has a few seemingly unrelated quirks it felt like it was slipping briefly a few months ago. A few times I refuled I smelled gas in the cabin. Can it be another ma sensor? I can't afford to just start replacing things... Codes when they're present are one lean bank and low maf. Helps? Ideas?

171 and 102 when we scanned it. Tapped the maf it adjusted the idle. I don't know if I put this before but we replaced IAC. He says it loses all power when it stalls I know we lose power steering.

If the idle changed when tapping the maf it is bad.

Assuming "when we scanned it" is most recent, correct?

Assuming "171 and 102" are slang for P0171 and P0102, correct?

Yes correct. We just replaced the sensor is why it seems strange

If tapping the sensor causes the engine idle to stumble the sensor is bad. I don;t care if it just came pout of the box.
