Default I am ready to give up. Any advice?

I have a 1991 Buick Lesabre, with Red Velour Interior. I have put a LOT of work into this car to get it running and sounding good. The car runs absolutely perfect now, but if I had realized what a pain it would be to source parts... I would have scrapped it.

I never had problems finding parts for my 1976 Mercedes Benz, but this borders on ridiculosity.

I broke my drivers side door panel trying to remove it. It crumbled into dust.

My car is missing the center console armrest, and door panel armrests.

I can't find these parts. I put hours and hours of hard work into this car, bringing it back to life and this has got me so frustrated at GM products it'* not even funny.

Where, if anywhere, can I find GM interior parts?

Typically, parts are only manufactured for 15 years after the car has been built. With yours being 22 years old and not exactly a high end collectors model, you can pretty much bet you aren't going to find any more interior parts for it.

Probably your only other option is to scour the country via Craigslist and Ebay for an identical car as yours, and buy it to part it out.

Have you tried to use this site to search for the part at local salvage yards?
Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market

Salvage yards are probably your best bet, unless you are trying to sped a ridiculous amount on the parts, the top of the console is 154.00 without the rest of the console parts, I did not total up the parts, but it looks like a bit over 300.00 for all of the parts, the cup holder alone is over 70.00.
I'll give you a link to what I am looking at, if the link does not work let me know.
ARM REST/FRONT SEAT. Fits: 1991 Buick Lesabre | Nalley Buick GMC Brunswick

They have the armrest as well, but the base of the armrest alone is around 100.00.

I see a black base armrest on e-bay, I am not sure if it is close to what you are looking for though.

Some other links to checkout on e-bay.

I see the coin holder, cup holder, bracket, and console lid here, maybe you could find one with a beat up lid from a junkyard, and get the lid shown here.

Hopefully that gets you a little closer to getting the parts you need.

Thanks WilliamE, it definetly helps a bit. Mainly in finding part numbers, etc.. I'm in the market as well for a manual window regulator for my Front Left door. Are there parts from other GM cars that will fit mine??

Unfortunately I have been spoiled by epic customer service from MBUSA, not used to being unable to find what I want. But, this car was all I could afford at the time. Guess I should have pinched pennies for a while longer and bought a W116 or W123 Mercedes...

I am seriously torn up about everything, because I recently drove this car 1,500 miles roundtrip without a hitch. No, I don't have A/C in this thing but with 3 windows open at 70 miles per hour you don't sweat much..

You should be able to find a new regulator for a decent price on RockAuto'* site, I see a few window parts listed, but I am not familiar enough with window components, so I cannot say just which you need, or if they for sure have what you need.
I see window regulator guides, rollers, and tape, but no actual regulator listed.
Wait, I see regulators on a few other sites, and they are a bit pricey, around 250.00 and up, you may want to use the used car parts link in my first post, and see what you can find locally.
The part number for that regulator looks like 25544676, I cannot verify though.
Here is a link that shows part numbers, it looks like at this site the manual regulators were discontinued.
GLASS & HARDWARE for 1991 Buick LeSabre

I am not 100% sure, but I believe anything from 89 to 91'* will work, as long as it is an Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale, Bonneville
The Oldsmobile 98 Regency, and Electra'* should also work, but only years 89-90, at least that is what I am seeing by looking at parts on Nalley Buick, and junkyards.

Thanks for the help. Showed me there are parts out there. I think I know what I'm going to do about the cup holder / console. Little redneck engineering never hurt anyone imo.

Shop on my favorite store ... Ebay. I saw window regulators for your car for $40.

There'* a boneyard about 15 minutes from my house, they have a whole LeSabre sitting there, I'd guess 86-87, but hard to really tell because I can only see the nose and the major visual difference in 6th Gen, to my knowledge, was the tail lights sometime between mine ('87) and one I saw for sale locally ('91).

I didn't see the interior, it'* close to the building but there'* cars in front of it.

If you want to call and ask about it, M & J Auto Recycling | Used Auto Parts & Scrap Metal Recycling. I've dealt with them a few times, and they're generally good people to deal with.

Best of luck!
