How about the fuel filter?

I know the fuel pump has been replaced, but still curious what the fuel pressure is when running properly and also when it is having the problem.

Fuel pump, lines, and filter were all changed out last November, for this issue.
**NEW** ECM was installed in January. Had a friend of mine, that works at a Chevy dealership look up the ECM by part number and they had a brand new one, never been opened, still sealed ECM on the shelf. Not a bad price either! $97.00 (His cost LOL)
It runs much better with the ECM, but still dies.
Spark blugs, and wires were changed out on the engine rebuild. The engine has less than 100 hours of drive time since the rebuild, and less than 500 miles on it since the rebuild. Total miles on it is 109917.
We scanned for codes. I believe there was a 24 27,28,and 29 along with a 42 ?? I'll have to go back through my texts to the mechanic and see for certain what those codes were. I know one was Fuel to spark something, and then a lost reference signal from ignition. Everything else sort of falls into place as far as codes. No Reference signal means the car stalls, which means low MAF through that sensor, and then a missing timing ref.
The mechanic has his Snap on scan computer in the car and when it dies, he is recording the ref signals.
This is why we are baffled.

That was a nice, roomy car......the Lucerne that replaced it, was not as roomy.....

Well, here it is, a year and 3 months later. Here is your book to read...

Gramma got the scratches buffed out of the right front fender, and passengers side door, and then I put Avalongking Ceramic coating over the scratches. No more scratches. (I'm almost at the end of experimenting with Avalonking, and will be submitting my report and testimony to them at the end of the month. Not paid, nor sponsored, but I did promise them to give them an honest and true review. Not to worry, it all looks good.)
As far as the hazed looking head lamps, I used rubbing compound and got rid of most of that, then used 1500 grit sand paper and wet sanded the headlamps and worked my way all the way up to 3000 grit. They look almost new!
I decided to encase the entire car in Avalonking. In the year and 3 months since I've done this, we've had 1 tropical storm, 7 haboobs (and yes, I typed that with not so much as a smirk), and one remnants of a tropical storm Lorena. Lots of Florida type rain (hard downpour), but the water just beaded right up and ran off the car. For washing, all I've ever done was spray the car off, I think once I used actual soap, since there were bird droppings that simple spraying couldn't get off. I've never waxed the car either, (Since it has a ceramic coating, you don't need to.)
The carpets were scrubbed and extracted with hot water. They weren't that dirty. I don't have any floor mats, and I don't want cheap floor mats. Gramma is too good of a car for that.
She got new tires, and a new bumper. The tire place either ran the car into something, or something ran into the front bumper, puncturing the front bumper in 2 places, and caused a few stress cracks both in the front part of the bumper and under the head lights. So, I filed a claim and I got a new bumper, had it painted professionally, and had the new bumper put on.
in the year and 3 months of ownership, I have had the center console lid replaced, (Thanks eBay!) the sun visor clip on the passengers side replaced, new tires, oil, trans fluid and filter (since the fluid was a light brown color... ewww), coolant, and power steering fluids changed. Brake fluid comes next week when it goes in to have new brakes put on. The plastic coolant elbows broke last November, so I had the upgraded metal ones put on. Have the fuel filter, but we can't get the old one off without the fuel line kinking and breaking. Rust..Something I'm not used to. So that project is on hold.
The strut bearings (We VW guys call them) Strut mounts were replaced since it sounded like me getting out of bed in the morning, every time you turn the wheel. Popping and squeaking. This was done since when I had the bumper put on, the body guy saw that the strut mount that the strut comes through was almost rotted completely out and the top of the strut was wearing away the paint, and causing a dent on the underside of the hood. :/ The line that supplies the air to the rear struts for the self leveling system was replaced. The original line was broken in 2.
New struts all the way around, and a dash cover to cover the warped dash board on the drivers side. Since the car did come from the rust belt, I have new bleed valves for the calipers. Those get put on next week as well. I also replaced the in cabin filter (dark gray in color and full of black dirt, we only have brown dirt here), air filter, spark plugs and wires. the spark plugs were original, from the factory. they served 99k miles. Way to go AC Delco!
It sounds like a lot, but it really wasn't. Mainly just maintenance stuff. It also helps to be in good with the mechanic, and designing a new database for him to use. Love CactusCarCare! The radio is awesome. Has a very full rich sound to it. We celebrated Gramma turning 100K miles on September 10, 2019 at 4:22 PM.
I've only had one scary moment with Gramma. A few weeks ago it went from 65 degree mornings to 50, and it was kind of humid, right before a storm. The Service Engine Soon light came on, and yes, 3 dings. Very loud too! It seemed to drive fine, nothing steaming, and nothing smoking, but you can bet I kept my eye on the temp gauge, and pulled up the oil pressure on the Torque app I have on my old phone. Ended up that it was a small leak detected in the evap system (P0442). But it really wasn't. Called the mechanic and he said that this sort of thing happens down here this time of year. Clear the code and if the SES light comes back on, to bring it in. Never did.

All in all this car has been so good to me. Nice ride, I fill up about once every 2 weeks or so, and I drive about 38 miles round trip to and from work. When I fuel up, I put in about 12 to 13 gallons of fuel. That gives me about 27-29 miles per gallon. Probably will go down since we have snowbirds here again and just love to clog traffic up by being out on the freeway at 5 am, or in rush hour at 4:30 pm.

As far as the Park Avenue. It'* still at the shop. Again, good thing I'm in good with the mechanic. Him and his assistant can duplicate the issue all day every day. He'* tested, retested and retested the retests. Nothing new. he did find, however, that if you pull the ECM fuse after it dies, for about 10 seconds, the car will start again, but it depends on it'* mood on if it will run for another 20 minutes, 10 minutes, or even 5 minutes. :/ I miss that car! I've been told by other people that I should just junk the car. I can't! I just rebuilt the engine. I got all that money into it. Besides. I think it'* good that the mechanic can scratch his noggin over something, instead of acting all smug and always having the answers! Don't tell him I said that though. LOL

Your Lesabre is worth keeping, it is in nice shape!
I got my Nephew an 01 Lesabre around 4-5 years ago, He drives it 135 miles a day to and fro from work.
He drives this car hard. On his vacation he drives 700 miles one way 3 x per year and never had any major issues.
Last week was the only time he really had to deal with a coil replacement. Very good car.
My PK ave is still running strong, I'm on the 2nd LIM/intake gaskets set, I keep my PA in very clean shape.

I agree that it'* worth keeping. "Gramma" (The LeSabre) gets driven very carefully, but when she needs to get around someone, or get on the freeway she sure makes her way quick into traffic.
Don't know what happened here. I changed my notification email address, and came back here to reply, and I couldn't reply. I think we're good now.
