Default Good deal ?? Also non start ? help

I was at a GM dealer today when a guy traded in hs car and I bought it ! It is a 2000 Lesabre Limited loaded with heated leather etc....It has 25k miles !! It is mint . There is zero rust anywhere even the brake lines etc, floor mats everything perfect. I paid 6 k for it.
Did I do ok ??

Now one ?/ problem.......I drove it and it drives like new...when I shut it off it woudnt start , just clicked but when boosted it started right up, they said they will figure out what the problem is and fix it before I get it .
It looks like a new batter but what could it be ??

Sounds like and alternator as the alternator keeps the battery charged and if its not doing ts job you will run on Batt power only and it will be dead after a short period of time

I would say clean the battery cables at the battery. When they are corroded there the battery power has a hard time getting to the starter, but when you jump it it works fine because your jumping to the cable and by passing the battery.

weird thing is they boost it and it starts right up, let it run for a few minutes and it starts right back up....the dealer said they would fgure it out so we shall see, im not taking it until I know...I doubt it is the alternator because it shows it charging...Battery ? maybe but doesnt seem like it unless something * drawing it down.

DO you think i got an ok deal ??

Blue book says you got a good deal. Has the price in the $6500 to $6900 area.

You could tell them you want a 30 warranty on that problem.

they told me i have a 90 day warranty on the car due to the mileage ?? Not sure how good that is but the sales mgr told me " I will be sure the problem is fixed and if it happens again I will give you a car to drive and fix it" I suppose I should trust him but,,,,,,, its hard to trust a car dealer

I normally wouldnt want a 12 yr old car but this sucker is soooo clean and low mileage
Now what can I get for my Park Ave with 200k miles on it ?? Its in great shape no rust or rot.. ??
