Fuel rail pressure sensor
oil level seemed high. I brought a borascope to him and checked inside cylinders. There was some water in the cylinders and watery oil in the valve cover. He tightened the bolts on the cylinder head and has asked me to keep an eye on the coolant. He also changed the oil.
oil was a bit high on dip stick but he also said that he had put in 6L when the car only calls for 4.7L
When he was doing the rebuild, I had given him a new GM head gasket with matching bolts so I assume the gasket was in there. He took off the valve cover then tightened the long bolts on the head. He said that they were loose..He had bought a new wrench and said that it must not have been working correctly.

I have already paid him a lot for the whole job (engine overhaul) so I want to hold him to fixing it rather than having to dish out more money. This morning the coolant tank was empty..he had told me that I may have to add some water this morning but I was not expecting this much. My family needs the car and this is frustrating. He had told me that if I lose more fluid to take the car to him 75km away..but I really don't want to drive it that far with water in my oil. He did change the water pump inside the timing chain but that would not lead to water inside the combustion chamber correct?
Thanks.
Thanks.
After filling the reservoir tank this morning, I drove 20km. 2 hours after, the coolant was a bit lower but when I opened the reservoir tank it was pressurized and air came out. The water level came up a bit and quite a few bubbles came up through the coolant from hose that goes to coolant tank.

It appears this mechanic did just what we've been suspecting.
My suggestion: Get your money back from this mechanic, through court action if necessary. Take your car to a real mechanic. The it will get fixed. You are further behind than when you started, and we're coming up on a year since this problem started.
