Drivers window works half the time and radio won't turn off
2012 Buick Regal. This issue has been going on for a couple months now and its very aggravating. All the others windows work right now besides the drivers side front and the radio will not turn off when I open up the door. I did some research on it and I think I've narrowed it down to either the RAP relay or a BCM problem. Anyone else have this problem? Please chime in with some solutions

Would help to know what the exact problem with the driver'* window is.....It won't go down? It won't go up? It only goes partway up/down?
Looking at the wiring diagram(working with a 2011 diagram), the BCM has nothing to do with the driver'* side motor, only the other three......however the BCM does control the RAP relay......we could have a bad BCM, or we could have bad signal into the BCM from the door latch assembly, causing the BCM not to know the door is opened...........
If I am reading this wiring diagram right, we are dealing with logic motors......diagnosis of this system is made easy with a Tech II scanner.....If the window is not working at all, we could have a bad motor, bad logic board, open comm line, etc.
this is how logic motors work, let'* say your driver'* side switch activates the right front window down......the switch will send a logic signal to all window motors to go down......but only the logic motor for the rf window will recognize it and then the circuit board will power the motor appropriately.....
Codes could be set in the form of "B" and "U" codes....

Just want to make sure we talking about the factory radio, or was an aftermarket radio installed?
It may be best to allow GM to try to diagnose this situation with their TechII scanner.
Hopefully with an hour or two for labor, they may be able to pinpoint the problem.

With a Tech II scanner, you should be able to diagnose both problems in 0.5-1.0 hours, if you know what you are doing....
One thing I would try is swapping the RAP relay with another to see if this fixes the problem....correction, it is the battery saver relay, not the rap relay, that powers the radio....

TechII is that diagram from All Data or? Are there any loose Relays around/ behind IP?
The owners manual does not seem to indicate a Battery saver relay, unfortunately.
Here is the download pdf owners manual from GM, if that helps....
https://my.buick.com/content/dam/gmo...gal_owners.pdf
See index under fuses, it has a click on directly to page 10-39, 10-40, 10-43...
I would be tempted to call a GM dealer & ask them if they know if that regal has a battery saver relay & it'* location,or if they have any info on it?
