Yep. There are no bolt holes. manual says removal is by hand. Has anyone come across this?

The size of this damper will max out or exceed the autozone 3-jaw loaner tool capacity.

Is there any chance that you could post a picture of your balancer? The removal can not be by hand in my opinion. There should be three bolt holes but they are extremely small in my opinion. Either 1/4 or 6mm.

1/2 inch torque wrench arriving tonight!

Used the big three jaw puller and used the extension from gm duck foot puller kit, both from autozone, to remove the balancer. Sweet.

If you were me, would you remove and replace this seal? It was not leaking. The new balancer is hopping in there soon. I have two new seals handy, and the kenmore J whatever seal installer tool. I’m concerned about the rust and having a good mating surface. I’m prepared to scrub and polish the area with hand tools, pads, compound etc but is it worth it or am I asking for another oil leak.

Further coolant leak inspection today. Found a nice snapped bolt there on the coolant pump/front cover.

TMI
