Default Center dash speaker

Hope someone can help as this is becoming extremely frustrating especially when using onstar and properly using the radio.

The center mount speaker intermittently turns on when it wants to and then you can barely hear it most times and of course it effects onstar communication or even the radio doesn't sound right without that speaker working properly.

Someone help please

Duane

I'm wondering if the speaker or connectors may be at fault.
Are the other speakers working fine?
I had a similar issue with the front speaker on my park ave, and I went to a stereo installation shop, as I could not find the issue, it turned out to be the connector.

Yeah I agree, probably a bad connector. You're going to have to get to the back side of the speaker to check it.
